Choose Wisely, Canada

The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) has teamed up with Choosing Wisely Canada to develop the Six Things Pharmacists and Patients Should Question list. Choosing Wisely Canada is an organization committed to helping clinicians and patients engage in conversations about unnecessary tests and treatments and make smart and effective care choices. Developed with input from Canadian pharmacists and pharmacy researchers, and vetted by an expert committee, the list identifies key recommendations that can support conversations between patients and clinicians about what care is really required. Criteria included relevance to practicing pharmacists, impact, and available evidence to support each recommendation. Choosing Wisely Canada
